SOUTHWESTERN, NT ADVANCE <br> PACE SETS TEMPO AS ORCHARD PARK RETURNS TO STADIUM

North Tonawanda earned its second trip to Ralph Wilson Stadium in the last three years with a convincing 34-6 win over visiting West Seneca West. The Lumberjacks scored 19 points in the first quarter, including two scores in an 11-second span.

Quarterback Scott Gregson rushed for a season-high 140 yards on 14 carries and scored twice for the Jacks, who forced three fumbles and had two interceptions. Linebacker Matt Scalice forced two of those turnovers and had eight solo tackles along with four assists.

NT had four touchdown runs over 45 yards. Andy Davis had a 51-yarder, Bill Cheehan ran one in from 49 yards out and Gregson had TD runs of 45 and 49 yards.

Orchard Park 30, Williamsville North 12: Andy Pace finished with a career-high 253 yards on 29 carries and had all four TDs as the Quakers earned their fourth straight trip to the stadium. The first time Pace touched the ball, he went for 50 yards. He scored on runs of 11, 5, 3 and 21 yards.

Orchard Park's defense held the Spartans to a pair of four-quarter TDs. Jason Weber had nine tackles and two forced fumbles. Cornerback Ron Fulton had three interceptions and eight tackles. Damian Kashino added five tackles and three sacks.

Class C

Falconer 34, Silver Creek 6: Kurt Jones scored four TDs and finished with 334 yards on 30 carries as the Falcons earned a trip to the stadium. Mike Lodestro had nine tackles and a pass deflection.

For the Black Knights, Josh Lancaster had 106 yards on 15 carries. After a scoreless first quarter, the Falcons scored twice in the second quarter.

Class D

Ellicottville 36, Panama 6: Chris Moore ran for 146 yards and three TDs on 23 carries as the Eagles earned a win over Panama. Tyler Dunnes threw for one touchdown and ran for another for the Eagles.

Consolation bowl games

Lancaster 48, Grand Island 30: Quarterback Keith Pantling was 12 of 17 and had 256 yards passing for the Redskins. Brad Murray had 116 yards in receptions and three scores. John Durkin had 12 carries for 102 yards and two scores. It was the first meeting between the schools.

Lake Shore 21, Niagara Falls 20 (OT): Dan Glover kicked a PAT followed Jake Graci's 3-yard sneak in overtime for the Eagles. Matt Driscoll had 155 yards rushing giving him 1,063 for the season. Graci was 12 of 20 passing for 93 yards. James Starks threw for 164 yards and all three Falls' TDs.

Alden 40, Eden 14: Taylor Meyers scored three touchdowns -- on runs of 28 and 33 yards and on a 30-yard pass play from Jordan Fuller -- for the Tigers.

Meyers, who added a fumble recovery, rushed for 188 yards on 21 carries. Mike Tabaczynski had two interceptions and a fumble recovery, while Bernie Barbuto had seven tackles while running for 75 yards and one TD. Eden quarterback Colby Schrauth threw for one touchdown and ran for another.

Springville 41, Cheektowaga 20: Paul Nunweiler had a school record 94-yard run as the Griffins also broke the school record for most passing yards in a season (1,095).

Cassadaga Valley 13, Akron 10: A 32-yard pass from James Lacki to Brad Barmore helped Cassadaga Valley to the win. Brendan Neill hit a 30-yard field goal for Akron.

Salamanca 31, Wilson 12: Mike Crandall ran for 66 yards and passed for 82 for Salamanca. Justin Hager rushed for 174 yards and two touchdowns on 11 carries, while the Warriors' defense held Wilson to minus-1 yards rushing.

Randolph 42, Sherman 20: Kevin Emley rushed for 237 yards on 22 carries to help pace the Cardinals. Emley had three touchdowns, including a 75-yard run and an 83-yard kickoff return.
