ACCOMPLICE IN BRAWL GETS 3 YEARS' PROBATION

A man who was involved in a brawl outside a Niagara Falls bar last year was placed on three years' probation Friday by Niagara County Judge Peter L. Broderick Sr.

Johnnie Davis Jr., 22, of Dudley Avenue, Niagara Falls, had pleaded guilty to third-degree assault. He held Naim Young of Dudley Avenue outside a Highland Avenue bar May 9, 2003, allowing Patrick Vincent to hit Young in the head with a metal pole. Vincent, 22, of Elmwood Avenue, Niagara Falls, was sentenced to one to three years in prison for the attack.
