TWO GIRLS ARRESTED, ONE SOUGHT IN GANG ROBBERY

Two teenage girls were charged and another one is being sought in connection with an assault and robbery of another girl Thursday afternoon at a Main Street Metro stop.

Faith L. Blue, 16, of May Street, and Reneka Sommerville, 17, of Johnson Street, were both charged with felony gang assault, robbery and obstructing governmental administration.

Blue and Sommerville are accused of attacking a girl in the 900 block of Main Street at about 6 p.m. and stealing her sneakers. Police are also seeking a third attacker.

NFTA police Officers David Zarbo, Andre Taibbi and Jason Porter reported that the victim was struck numerous times in the head and face. She was taken to Buffalo General Hospital with head and possible internal injuries.
