A Wellsville man who admitted to a drive-by shooting has been sentenced to the six months he has served in the Allegany County Jail in Belmont.
District Attorney Terrence M. Parker said Judge Thomas P. Brown also put Alan M. Schrader, 20, on five years' probation.
Schrader pleaded guilty to third-degree criminal mischief, a felony.
Parker said he fired a .22-caliber rifle at the rear window of a van parked at an occupied house March 18 on River Road in Wellsville.
He had been indicted May 5 on the criminal mischief charge as well as on a first-degree reckless endangerment count.
