David I. Price, 32, of Robinson Road, was sentenced to 1 1/2 to three years in prison Thursday for drug possession and assault.
Niagara County Judge Peter L. Broderick Sr. imposed the penalty for attempted fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance and third-degree assault.
Price struck a man in the head with a gun March 24 in the City of Lockport, leaving the victim with a concussion. Two days later, he had almost a gram of cocaine when city police collared him again.
