Volunteers are needed to wrap gifts at the holiday gift wrap booth operated by Opportunities Unlimited of Niagara Foundation.
The booth will be open from Nov. 22 through Dec. 24 at Prime Outlets, 1900 Military Road, Niagara Falls, near the Liz Claiborne store. All proceeds will support programs and services provided to individuals with developmental disabilities in Niagara County.
Individuals, students, businesses, service club members and fraternal organizations are invited to take a four-hour shift during mall hours, including Christmas Eve. Anyone who is interested is asked to call Valerie Camann, manager of special events, at 297-6400, ext. 256.
The North Tonawanda History Museum is seeking volunteers to participate in a North Tonawanda tour of historic homes in July 2005, and individuals willing to help with planning of a historic gardens contest and a scavenger hunt project for the summer of 2005. No specific skills are necessary, although they would be helpful, but time, enthusiasm and a willingness to help are the most important qualities needed. Call 692-2681 for further details.
