RSA Solutions in Amherst is adding 50 workers -- bringing its total to about 500 -- as the marketer of off-lease autos expands into financial services.
Formerly called Remarketing Services of America, RSA Solutions is recruiting both managers and associates to help market mortgages and other financial products on behalf of banks.
RSA has hired Thomas L. Bayles, former national marketing director for Key Corp., to head the new mortgage business, which was announced this summer.
The company qualifies sales leads as an outsource provider for five banking industry clients, co-chief executive Stuart H. Angert said. Using unscripted calls, sales-oriented associates work to qualify prospects for financial products.
During peak times, "banks can't respond to all the opportunities they have," he said. RSA has mortgage licenses in 10 states and expects to cover all 50 states in six months, expanding its ability to process loan originations, Angert said.
Job openings are linked to the mortgage business and to new clients in RSA's existing auto finance business. The company will hold a job fair 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Nov. 6 at its headquarters at 6400 Main St., Amherst. For information check www.rsa-net.com or call (716) 564-5627.
RSA is a unit of Fiserv Inc. in Brookfield, Wisc., a provider of outsource business services with annual sales of $2.7 billion.
