The owner of a Woodside Avenue property was being treated late Wednesday for an apparent broken neck after he was thrown down a flight of attic stairs by a pair of roofers, Buffalo police reported.
The incident occurred at about 1:15 p.m. at 168 Woodside Ave. when a tenant there got into an argument with roofing contractors, according to reports.
After the owner intervened, he was thrown down the stairs.
The victim was said to be in his 20s. He was taken to Erie County Medical Center for treatment of a possible broken neck.
Buffalo police detectives from the South District were investigating the incident.
