Jewish Liberal Arts Club will observe its 79th anniversary at a luncheon Monday in Temple Shaarey Zedek, Amherst. Mary Beth Wrobel, a WIVB-TV meteorologist, will speak on "Women in Science" and a musical program will be given. Judy Diamond is taking reservations at 691-4726.

Beverly King and Gloria Pfohl will speak about the breast cancer awareness gardens at Central Terminal when Pro-To Club of Buffalo meets at 11 a.m. Nov. 8 in University Inn.

A craft show featuring more than 100 exhibitors will be sponsored by the Holy Name Society of St. Andrew Catholic Church, Town of Tonawanda, from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday in the church's Donovan Center..

Plans for a Christmas party will be made when Zonta Club of Kenmore meets at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Classics Banquet Center after dinner at 6. Canned goods will be collected for food pantries.

Helen Urban will review "Madam Secretary" by Madeline Albright, former U.S. secretary of state and United Nations ambassador, for Clarence Book Review Club at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Clarence Town Park clubhouse, preceding a luncheon.

Hamburg Natural History Society will sponsor a fund-raiser from 7 to 9 p.m. next Thursday in Ilio DiPaolo's Restaurant. Admission is $20 and includes hors d'oeuvres and a door prize ticket. Silent and live auctions will feature restaurant and business certificates, gift baskets, art and craft items. Proceeds will help fund the purchase of land for the Penn Dixie Paleontological and Outdoor Education Center in Hamburg. To donate an auction item or for information, call 627-4560.

Daemen College Associations will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the college's Wick Center to plan a Nov. 14 awards brunch.
