Hires/Promotions/Honors

The Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra appointed John G. Horn to its board of trustees. Horn is a litigation associate with the Buffalo office of the law firm of Harter, Secrest and Emery.

RealtyUSA appointed Kirk Kubiak information technology specialist for the Buffalo Niagara region. Kubiak has more than 12 years of IT experience including Ingram Micro and Client Logic. He will be based in the firm's corporate headquarters at 910 Maple Road in Williamsville.

The law firm of Phillips Lytle was a sponsor at the PCIA Wireless Infrastructure Conference and Expo held recently in Dallas. Douglas W. Dimitroff, a partner in the firm, co-presented at the session titled "Collocation Essentials: Top 3 Regulations Impacting Collocation and How to Manage Them." Dimitroff concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial real estate and telecommunications law.

CTG's entry was one of 17 competitive submissions, and features a case study about Lone Star Steel, a tubular products company located in Texas. Gospel Rejuvenation's USA recently launched The Lazarus Project of Western New York, an adoption resource for families that are planning an adoption and those who have gone through the process. Support meetings will begin in spring 2005 at the Gloria J. Parks Center in the University District. Jacob Brunson is founder and president of the organization.
