An easy way to give deviled eggs an effectively spooky twist.
6 hard-boiled eggs, cooled
4 to 6 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 to 2 teaspoons yellow mustard
2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
Salt and pepper to taste
Sliced pitted black olives
Peel and halve the eggs. Carefully remove yolks and combine with mayonnaise, yellow mustard, finely chopped relish, salt and pepper until you have a smooth filling. Fill each egg white with a mound of the yolk mixture.
Garnish each egg with the sliced olive to make it look an eyeball. For worst results, serve on a white plate with a border of fake black spiders. Happy Halloween!
