Alice E. Bailey of Buffalo, a retired autoworker, died Monday in Millard Fillmore Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was 76.
Born Alice Parks in Kannapolis, N.C., she lived in this area for more than 50 years. She worked for 15 years at General Motors' Saginaw plant in Buffalo, retiring in 1987.
Among her interests were cooking, social clubs and her neighborhood block club.
Survivors include her husband, Hoyt of Buffalo; four daughters, Thelma V. Howell of Ventura, Calif., Donna E. Ansley of Charlotte, N.C., and Debra A. Williams and Diane T., both of Buffalo; a son, Timothy A. of Buffalo; a sister, Bertha Smith of Philadelphia; and 10 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at noon Friday in Calvary Baptist Church, 1184 Genesee St.
