A medical suites complex in Amherst near Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital has been sold to one of its tenants for nearly $2.5 million.
Quintus Equity Corp. sold the complex at 1120-1140 Youngs Road to Dr. Joseph B. Neiman, according to county records. The property had been marketed for lease before Neiman, a dermatologist, decided to buy it through JBN Enterprises LLC.
Along with the Neiman Center, the property's tenants include a plastic surgeon and a sleep apnea clinic. When the suites were being marketed by NAI Pyramid Brokerage's Buffalo office, promotional materials said a total of about 5,200 square feet was available for lease.
Neiman declined to comment on the purchase or his plans for the property.
Quintus is a group of investors led by managing partner Robert Mangano. The high visibility of the property, located on Youngs Road between Maple and Klein roads near the hospital, has made the site attractive to tenants, he said.
"It was time for us to sell, and it was time for (Neiman) to buy," Mangano said of the deal.
