Ralph K. Doktor, a maintenance worker, died unexpectedly Wednesday at home. He was 54.
The Batavia native was a graduate of Alexander High School and had a degree in electrical engineering from the University at Buffalo.
He was a maintenance worker in plant utilities at Attica Correctional Facility.
Mr. Doktor also was a motorcyclist and member of ABATE (American Bikers Aimed Towards Education), a national group.
Survivors include his parents, Henry of Lancaster and Geraldine Boloski Doktor of Rochester; a brother, David of Phelps; and a sister, Renee of Charlotte, N.C.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, Route 77, Darien Center. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
