Trudy Smith-Davis, of Buffalo, a retired registered nurse, died Monday in Buffalo General Hospital after a long illness. She was 56.
Born Trudy Coram in Buffalo, she was a graduate of South Park High School. She earned an associate's degree in registered nursing from Trocaire College and worked as a nurse at Buffalo Psychiatric Center.
She enjoyed bingo, playing cards and watching football.
Surviving are her husband, William Davis; three daughters, Madeline Smith of Buffalo, Vivian Smith of Newport News, Va., and Teane Smith of Springdale, Md.; three stepsons, Shawn Davis, Samuel Brown and Kenneth Brown, all of Buffalo; her mother, Vivian Coram of Buffalo; two sisters, Cheryl Coram and Diane Coram, both of Buffalo; two brothers, Cornelius Coram of Pensacola, Fla., and Levi Coram Jr. of Leesburg, Fla.; and seven grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Logan Memorial African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church, 210 Southampton St., after viewing at 10. Burial will be in St. Matthews Cemetery, West Seneca.
