POLICE ACCUSE 2 TEENS OF DRUG-LINKED KILLING

Schenectady police have charged two teenagers with the Oct. 11 shooting death of a 25-year-old man during a drug deal.

Tiheem Morris and Brandin Brown, both 15 and from Schenectady, were arrested Wednesday and charged with second-degree murder, police said.

The teens are accused of killing Thomas Oeser, a Montgomery County man who police said went to Schenectady with a friend to buy crack cocaine.

Police said the teens shot Oeser while trying to rob him and his friend.

Oeser forced his way into a home and collapsed. He was then taken to a Schenectady hospital and died shortly after arrival.

Morris and Brown are being held in the Albany County Secure Detention Facility for juveniles.
