A Cleveland Avenue man was arrested Wednesday after a Depew apartment was broken into, according to police.
Isaiah R. Harris, 23, was charged with burglary, resisting arrest, criminal mischief and obstructing governmental administration. Police said Harris has twice been convicted on felony drug charges.
Depew police said Harris climbed up to an upper apartment in the 1000 block of Transit Road when the male homeowner heard someone banging on his bedroom window and called police at about 7:55 p.m.
Police said Harris broke two window panes with his head but was unable to enter. Officers Daniel Garry and Don Panzarella apprehended Harris at Broadway and Bellevue Street.
Garry suffered a knee injury during the arrest, police said.
