Private services for Jeffrey S. Michienzi, a former Clarence resident, were held Wednesday in Washington, D.C.
Mr. Michienzi died unexpectedly Oct. 15 of a brain tumor while visiting his sister in Washington. He was 39.
Born in Buffalo, Mr. Michienzi was a graduate of Clarence High School and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Fla.
Before moving to Charlotte, N.C., last year, he headed the parts department at Prior Aviation. Most recently, he had been working at Charlotte Douglas International Airport.
Survivors include his wife, the former Christine Pulinski; a son, Matthew; and two daughters, Emily and Grace, all of Charlotte; a sister, Kimberly Rahl of Washington, D.C.; his parents, Giulio and Jeanette of Ormond-by-the-Sea, Fla.; and his grandmothers, Rose Lucci of Charlotte and Flora of Williamsville.
Locally, family will receive friends after 4 p.m. today in the home of Ricardo and Michele Marable, 175 Wellington Road.
