City Honors swept the Buffalo Public Schools girls and boys soccer finals at J.H. Williams Park.

The girls took the Radcliffe Cup with an 11-1 victory over Hutch-Tech. Mary Pitek, Cara Petrucci and Maddy Kaye each had two goals for the Centaurs (12-0-1, 9-0), who also captured last year's title.

In the boys final, City Honors won, 2-1, over Grover Cleveland in overtime. Frank Dolce netted the winner, while Drew Gaddi scored in the final minute of regulation for the Centaurs to force OT. City Honors (14-3, 11-0) will next play in the Class B sectionals, while Grover plays in the Class AA sectionals.

Canisius, St. Francis win

In the Monsignor Martin Association boys volleyball playoffs, Canisius and St. Francis advanced to the finals, which will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at D'Youville.

Ryan Zettle led the Crusaders with 13 kills in a 25-7, 25-11, 25-18 win over St. Joe's, while St. Francis' Andy Rich had a team-best nine kills in a 25-14, 25-8, 25-23 victory over Timon/St. Jude.
