Buffalo police arrested a man suspected of robbing a pizza deliveryman at gunpoint within 24 hours of the incident.

Central District detectives Edward M. Cotter and Timothy McDonald arrested Christopher Scott, 21, of Rhode Island Street, at about 12:15 today. He was charged with robbery, criminal use of a firearm, and criminal possession of a weapon. His girlfriend, Donielle A. Tabb, 22, of Michigan Avenue, was charged with criminal facilitation for using her cell phone to place the order and then calling back several times to give the deliveryman directions.

Police said the victim, who works for Avenue Pizza & Submarines on South Park Avenue, was robbed of his pizza, chicken wings, cell phone and $70 at 12:20 a.m. Wednesday as he was delivering an order in the 600 block of Virginia Street.

Three men, armed with a handgun, stole the items and fled. Scott and Tabb were arrested in the 800 block of Michigan Avenue. Two other men are still being sought.
