Hires/Promotions/Honors
People Inc. president and CEO James M. Boles was honored by the New York State Rehabilitation Association with the Adrien Levy Award for distinguished service in the rehabilitation field. A graduate from Columbia University, Boles began his career in the human service field in 1972. Boles has served on the Commissioner's Advisory Council on Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities, the National Conference of Executives of Associations for Retarded Citizens and the NYSRA Board as a member and president and in addition, has held various positions within the Western New York Developmental Disabilities Planning Council, Human Service Alliance of Western New York and Developmental Disabilities Alliance of Western New York. In 1991, Boles received the John A. Evanko Award from the Rehabilitation Association of Western New York.

Summit Park Mall in Niagara Falls named Larry Rose mall manager. Rose previously managed the mall from 1998 to 2001. Rose replaces interim manager, Ron Anderluh who will now be responsible for special projects. Also, the mall named Dominic Salamone leasing manager.

The Washington D. C. law firm of of Baker and McKenzie named David S. Cole partner. Cole began his practice with the former Buffalo law firm Cohen Swados Wright Hanifin Bradford and Brett and while an associate with that firm, served in-house with the Buffalo Sabres during part of the 1995-1996 season.
