Alice J. Burshtynsky, a Batavia homemaker, died Sunday in Crossroads House after a lengthy illness. She was 76.
Born Alice Lensky in Buffalo, she moved to Batavia as a youngster.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in East Bethany; the Ladies Auxiliary of Glenn S. Loomis Post, American Legion; and the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Lockport. She enjoyed crafting, crocheting and knitting.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Martin; three daughters, Roberta Norton of Alexander, Joyce of Batavia and Linda Bartlett of Darien; a son, Mark of Batavia; a sister, Sylvia Wojcik of Buffalo; nine grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Friday in Immaculate Conception Church, 5865 Ellicott Street Road, East Bethany. Burial will be in St.
