Kenneth H. Neibert of Buffalo, who retired early due to a heart condition, died Oct. 1 in Buffalo General Hospital after a long illness. He was 54.
He had been a steelworker at Buffalo Forge and a route driver for Maria's Bakery.
A train enthusiast, he also had worked at Buffalo Place as a lighting and decoration engineer, working with the Taste of Buffalo and other events.
Survivors include his wife, the former Carol A. Matteliano; two daughters, Kimberly Suminski of Cheektowaga and Kelly of Buffalo; six stepchildren; his mother, Geraldine A. of Buffalo; and a brother, Donald C. Jr. of Buffalo.
A memorial Mass will be offered at 9 a.m. Saturday in Villa Maria Convent Chapel, 600 Doat St., Cheektowaga.
