FRIGHT FEST: Fright Fest continues at Six Flags Darien Lake on Fridays from 6 to 10 p.m., Saturdays 1 to 10 p.m. and Sundays 1 to 8 p.m. through Oct. 31. Live shows include "Dr. Fright's Deadman's Party" and the children's show "Monster Mash" along with a laser-light show "Laserblast Spooktacular," a Trick-or-Treat Trail, costume contests, Brutal Planet Haunted House (for an additional charge) and more. XTREME HALLOWEEN: X-Treme Wheels Skate Park at 356 Hertel is holding a Halloween Bash on Saturday, including a paintball tournament and BMX, inline and skateboard best trick contest. There will be a $25 prize for a carved pumpkin contest and free candy bags while supplies last. Open noon to 10 p.m.
HAUNTED FORTRESS: Ghosts will haunt Old Fort Niagara at Fort Niagara State Park in Youngstown Oct. 29 and 30. Tickets are by advance sale only. Not recommended for kids under 8. Call 745-7611.

PUMPKIN FLOAT: Younger kids can put on costumes and bring carved pumpkins to Hoyt Lake by the Marcy Casino in Delaware Park this Saturday from 4:30 to 7 p.m. There's story-telling, games, crafts and live music.
