Dorothy L. Manhart of Kenmore, a retired office clerk, died Oct. 12 in her home after a long illness. She was 83.
Born Dorothy Martin in Pittsburgh, she moved to the Buffalo area as a child and graduated from Tonawanda High School. She lived in Kenmore most of her life, wintering in Ocala, Fla., the last 20 years.
From 1951 until her retirement in 1986, she was a purchasing clerk for General Motors in the Town of Tonawanda. She was an avid golfer and traveled extensively.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Richard G.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Faith United Presbyterian Church, 3150 Elmwood Ave., Town of Tonawanda. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Town of Tonawanda.
