Three people were treated in the hospital after a Twin City ambulance, carrying a female patient to Buffalo General Hospital, crashed into a pickup truck early this morning at Moselle and Genesee streets, Buffalo police said. Their injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.

The pickup truck driver, Antonio S. Green, 44, of Woodlawn Avenue, suffered pain and was treated in Erie County Medical Center.

Ambulance driver Ruddy A. Rodriguez, 26, of Manhattan Avenue, also suffered pain but was not treated in the hospital. His passenger, emergency worker Jeff Abbott, was treated in ECMC for minor bleeding. Their patient, Demetria Ross, suffered minor bleeding and was transported to the Buffalo General Hospital by Rural/Metro Medical Services paramedics.

Ferry-Fillmore District officers said the crash occurred at 12:25 a.m. when the ambulance, heading west on Genesee, T-boned the northbound pick-up truck.

No charges were filed.
