Rodney O. Pearsall, a bus driver, died unexpectedly Thursday in his Buffalo home. He was 38.
Born in Buffalo, he was a graduate of Burgard Vocational High School. He worked as a bus driver for Laidlaw Transit and We Care Transportation.
He played bass guitar and keyboards. He also enjoyed bowling.
Surviving are his wife, the former Holly E. Pryor; four sons, Craig, Marcus, Darnell and Pernell, all of Buffalo; four daughters, Shantelle, Sharel, Shanel and Nadia, all of Buffalo; his parents, Gertrude Lias and Edward, both of Buffalo; six brothers, Edward, Melvin Hooks, Larry Lias Jr., Adrian Lias, Amadus and Raymond; four sisters, Angela Lias, Antoinette, Tameka and Markita, all of Buffalo; a grandmother, Ruby of Buffalo; and a grandchild.
Services were held today in Providence Memorial Chapel, Buffalo. Burial was in St. Matthews Cemetery, West Seneca.
