UB TEACHING ASSISTANT ARRESTED IN RAPE CASE
A University at Buffalo graduate student and teaching assistant was arrested over the weekend on charges he raped an acquaintance in a UB apartment, police said.
Jinho Choi, 30, who lives in the Flickinger Court Apartments, near UB's North Campus, is charged with first-degree rape and third-degree assault, said John M. Grela, UB's public safety director.
A female student, who also lives in Flickinger Court, told police that Choi raped her shortly before 1 a.m. Saturday, Grela said. He said the investigation continues.
