Mary E. Kieffer, who worked for many years as an office assistant, died Friday in her Town of Hamburg home. She was 93.
Born Mary Barry in Buffalo, she lived in the Town of Hamburg for the past 15 years.
She worked for 25 years as an office assistant in the business department of Kleinhans men's store. She enjoyed reading and was a Buffalo Sabres fan.
Her first husband, Joseph McCarthy, died in 1954. Her second husband, Sylvester Kieffer, died in 1991.
Surviving are a daughter, Maureen Lapin of Chicago; a son, Donald McCarthy of the Town of Hamburg; and two grandchildren.
Services will be private.
