Berenice C. Brown, a homemaker, died Wednesday in Odd Fellow & Rebekah Rehabilitation and Health Care Center after a long illness. She was 87.
Born Berenice Rey in North Tonawanda, attended school there.
She moved to Lockport after her marriage to Kenneth E. Brown on June 19, 1937. He died in 1999.
Mrs. Brown enjoyed cooking and knitting.
Survivors include two sons, Lawrence R. and Kenneth J., both of Lockport; a daughter Shelia K. Lowery of Watson, Calif.; a sister, Frances Rey of North Tonawanda; a brother, Henry Rey of Lockport; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Services were private. Inurnment was in Elmlawn Cemetery, Town of Tonawanda.
