Louis Urso, a retired maintenance worker at Niagara Falls International Airport, died Monday of natural causes at his home. He was 86.
Mr. Urso was born in Niagara Falls and attended schools here.
He was a private in the U.S. Army in 1946-47 at Fort Jackson, S.C.
Mr. Urso worked for more than 30 years as a maintenance man for the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority, which owns the airport. He retired in 1986.
His wife of 48 years, the former Marie Barone, died May 27.
Survivors include two daughters, Deborah Miller of Atlanta and MaryAnn Boone of Niagara Falls; a son, Michael Miller of Independence, Ky.; a brother, Joseph of Niagara Falls; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Private graveside services will be held in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
