Former Buffalo resident Grace D. Marinola of Englewood, Fla., died there Sunday of a heart attack. She was 87.
Born Grace Radice in Seattle, she moved to Buffalo at age 16. She was married for 65 years to Joseph D. Marinola, who operated Hart's Service on Connecticut Street for many years. He died in 1994.
Mrs. Marinola was active with parent-teacher groups of Bishop O'Hern and Bishop Fallon high schools and was a member of the Altar & Rosary Society of Holy Angels Catholic Church.
Surviving are a son, Joseph D. Jr. of Englewood; a daughter, JoAnne Pautler of Fort Erie, Ont.; a sister, Joyce Messina of Englewood; 12 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial was offered today in St. Raphael's Catholic Church in Englewood. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Cheektowaga. A Memorial Mass will be scheduled at Holy Angels.
