In separate incidents about three hours apart, two men told police they were robbed of their cars Saturday morning.

The first theft happened shortly after midnight, when an Oakgrove Avenue resident said he was rushed by three masked men, one brandishing a pistol, as he got out of his car in his driveway.

He said they ordered him onto the ground and took his cell phone and $150.

The second theft happened in a parking lot at Elmwood Avenue and Amherst Street at about 3:30 p.m., when a man said he was robbed of his car by a man who pressed an unknown object wrapped in a towel into his abdomen. The robber was then joined by another man, and the two fled in the stolen vehicle.
