2 CHARGED WITH HARASSING CAMERAMAN ON RESERVATION

Two brothers from the Cattaraugus Indian Reservation were arrested Thursday night after being accused of pushing a WGRZ-TV cameraman and attempting to take his camera, the Erie County Sheriff's Department reported today.

Deputies said the cameraman, Charles Moore, was shooting an area off Route 438 on the reservation at about 8:30 p.m. when the two men began pushing him.

Moore got away and called the Sheriff's Department on his cell phone, deputies said.

Deputies John McCarthy and Christian Parisi charged Arthur Schindler, 41, and Daniel Schindler, 48, both of Route 438, with attempted robbery, resisting arrest and harassment, police said. They were taken to the Erie County Holding Center, pending arraignment in Town of Collins Court.

Officers from the state police, Gowanda and North Collins assisted in the arrest.
