DEAN BORYSIK, FORMER CLUB DISC JOCKEY
JUNE 14, 1962 -- JULY 19, 2004

Services for Dean Borysik, a former nightclub disc jockey, will be at 8 p.m. today in Schlager Funeral Home, 4614 Main St., Snyder. Entombment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Town of Tonawanda.

Mr. Borysik, of Williamsville, died Monday in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital, Amherst, after an illness of 1 1/2 years. He was 42. For the past year, he had lived in Erie County Home in Alden.

Mr. Borysik, who was know as "Dr. Music," was a disc jockey at several nightclubs in Buffalo -- the Stacks, the Oz and the Yellow Jaguar -- as well as the Library, Images and the present-day Cruisers in Niagara Falls.

He also cooked at Carmine's restaurant in Clarence.

Born in Buffalo, he graduated from Kenmore East High School in 1980 and studied electronics at Erie Community College.

A member of the Zimmer Motor Car Club, he enjoyed fishing, cooking and his pet dogs.

He is survived by a brother, Douglas of Williamsville.
