WALLACE G. WIGHT
AUG. 8, 1944 -- JULY 18, 2004

Wallace G. Wight of Barefoot Bay, Fla., formerly of Bergen, died Sunday in Palm Bay Hospital, Palm Bay, Fla. He was 59.

Born in Alexander, he retired in 2000 from Pfaudler Co. in Rochester, where he was a final assembly supervisor on glass-lined steel vessels for 27 years. At the time of his death, he was employed by Home Depot in Malabar, Fla.

Mr. Wight was a former member of Church of Christ, Scientist, in Spencerport and a current member of First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Melbourne, Fla.

Surviving are his wife of 39 years, the former Donna Griswold; two daughters, Dawn Guarino of Brockport and Janet Heimen of Dansville; four brothers, Leon of Wellsville, Elmer of Rochester, Carlton of Byron and Loren of Spencerport; four sisters, Winnie Beats and Shirley Goetz, both of Caneadea, Gladys Worthington of Bergen and Marion Worthington of Batavia; and three grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Marley Funeral Home, 135 Main St., Attica. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, North Darien.
