Private services were to be held for Theodore Green Jr., with burial in Sunset Hill Cemetery, Jamestown.
Mr. Green died July 10 in The Waters of Westfield. He was 95.
Known as "Ted," he was born in Cincinnati but lived in this area most of his life. He was a graduate of East Aurora High School and received a master's degree in engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Upon graduation, he returned to this area to join the family business -- Hydro Construction of Buffalo. He was with the company until his retirement in 1971.
Mr. Green also had lived in Lakewood and Bemus Point before moving to Westfield in 1996.
A golf enthusiast, he played until he was 94. As a younger man, he was active in racket sports including tennis and badminton.
He enjoyed reading and was a member of Moonbrook Country Club in Jamestown.
Survivors include his wife, the former Jane Dietsch of Westfield; three sons, Theodore III of Merry Point, Va., Robert of Bangkok, Thailand, and David of Williamsville; two stepdaughters, Ann Moelk of Westfield and Joan Meeder of Clymer; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
