Richard S. Wronski, 81, a retired machinist, died Saturday in Newfane Health Care Facility.

Mr. Wronski retired in 1987 from Pivot Punch in Pendleton. Before that, he worked at Dittmer Gear in Lockport.

Born in Buffalo, he was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, its Holy Name Society and the Barker senior citizens. He enjoyed country music.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, the former Esther Toth; three stepdaughters, Leona Broadbent of Florida, Norma J. Faris of Boulder, Colo., and Leanne Faux-Faris of Wisconsin; three brothers, John of Barker, Leonard of Appleton and Anthony Jr. of Newfane; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 1726 Quaker Road. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
