Ellyn D. Massee and Enrique A. Rivera Jr. exchanged marriage vows before the Rev. Frederick H. Jensen at 2 p.m. Saturday in Cleveland Heights Christian Church, Cheektowaga. A reception was given in Joseph's Country Manor and Grove. The bride is the daughter of Lynne Massee of Depew and the late Daniel J. Massee. The bridegroom is the son of Patricia Rivera of Eden and son and stepson of Enrique and Gayle Rivera of Depew. A graduate of Cleveland Hill High School, the bride, an insurance broker, is personal lines manager for Franz-Manno Service Corp. The bridegroom is a graduate of Lackawanna High School and is a mortgage counselor with Bank of America. They will live in Cheektowaga after a trip to Jamaica.

A reception was given in Tan Tara Golf Club for Erin E. Terry and Matthew J. DeVantier after their wedding at 3 p.m. Saturday in Pendleton Center United Methodist Church. The Rev. Thomas Kraft performed the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Wesley R. and Susan A. Terry of North Tonawanda and the bridegroom is the son of James DeVantier of North Tonawanda and Sandra Scherrer of Niagara Falls. The bride is a social studies teacher in Williamsville North High School and the bridegroom is employed in logistics by Praxair. They are graduates of University at Buffalo, where the bride is pursuing a master's degree. They will be at home in North Tonawanda after returning from a trip to Jamaica.

Trisha A. Strasser, who is attending Buffalo State College, and Ryan J. MacKellar, a graduate of the college, were united in marriage at 4:30 p.m. Friday in St. John Vianney Catholic Church, Orchard Park. Deacon Timothy J. Maloney performed the ceremony for the daughter of William and Jeanne Strasser of Hamburg and the son of Bruce and Patricia MacKellar of West Seneca. A reception was given in Hearthstone Manor. The newly married couple will be at home in Hamburg after traveling in Mexico. The bride is a graduate of Frontier Central High School and is employed by People Inc. The bridegroom is a graduate of West Seneca East High School. They are volleyball coaches of Western New York Storm Club.

St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Boston, was the setting at 2 p.m. Saturday when Candace M. Orego and Daniel J. Krempa were married by Monsignor Fred R. Voorhes. A reception was given in Oakwood Manor for the couple, who are traveling to Orlando, Fla. They will live in Boston. Parents of the bride are Linda and James Urban of Hamburg and the bridegroom is the son of David and Gloria Krempa, also of Hamburg. Scan coordinator and assistant store manager at North Boston Market Place, the bride is a graduate of Lake Shore Central High School and Erie Community College South Campus with high honors. The bridegroom, a Hamburg Central High School graduate, is a manufacturing analyst for Watson Bowman Acme.

West Virginia University graduates Tara L. DelGaudio and James M. Carroll Jr. were married at 2 p.m. Saturday in St. John Vianney Catholic Church, Orchard Park. Monsignor William J. Gallagher performed the wedding ceremony. A reception was given in Protocol Restaurant. The bride is the daughter of Rudy and Karen L. DelGaudio of West Seneca and the bridegroom is the son of Janet and Dr. James M. Carroll Sr. of Gaffney, S.C. A graduate of Orchard Park Central High School, the bride is a graduate student in speech pathology in University of South Carolina at Columbia. The bridegroom, a graduate of Gaffney High School, is a representative of ING Financial Partners. The couple will be at home in Greenville, S.C.

The Rev. Ralph T. Anderson of Ebenezer United Church of Christ performed the nuptial ceremony for Leanne Richelle Frei and Steven Charles Russ at 5:30 p.m. Friday in Kloc's Blossom Grove, where a reception was given. The bride is the daughter of Richard and Judith Frei of West Seneca and bridegroom is the son of Clarence and Barbara Russ of Cheektowaga. A special education teacher in Lancaster Central Schools, the bride is a graduate of Potsdam State College and has a master's degree in exceptional education from Buffalo State College. The bridegroom is a graduate of Buffalo State and is the owner of Surreal Painting and Design, Niagara Falls. After a trip to Negril, Jamaica, they will be at home in East Amherst.

During an outdoor ceremony at 5 p.m. Saturday at Marygold Manor, Kristen A. Phillips became the bride of Bryan J. Wittmeyer, preceding a reception. The bride is the daughter of Jack and Donna Phillips of Lake View and the bridegroom is the son of James and Diana Wittmeyer of Blasdell. The bride teaches mathematics in Frontier Central High School, from which she and the bridegroom were graduated. She is a graduate of Canisius College where she is pursuing a master's degree in literacy education. The bridegroom is a graduate of Northeastern University with a master's degree and is a physical therapist with Greater Buffalo Physical Therapy. The newly married couple will be at home in Hamburg after a trip to Jamaica.

The wedding of Jennifer L. Malanowski and John Carl Jacobs took place at 5 p.m. Saturday in Westminster Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Thomas H. Yorty performed the ceremony for the daughter of the late Phyllis Dombrowski and the son of Carl and Joan Jacobs of Town of Tonawanda. A reception was given in Marcy Casino in Delaware Park. The couple will travel to Lake Winnepesauke, N.H., and will be at home in Buffalo. The bride is attending Buffalo State College and is assistant to the city engineer in the Buffalo Department of Public Works. The bridegroom, an attorney in private practice, is a graduate of Cornell University, received a juris doctor degree from University at Buffalo Law School and is attending Buffalo State.
