CAN'T FIND 'EM -- A 50-year class reunion is being planned for West Seneca Central School Class of 1953 on Sept. 27 at Kloc's Grove in West Seneca.
The reunion committee has been unable to locate classmates Ralph Frisch, Nancy Meyer Walrath, Edward Burrows, Joan Laux Callahan, Dolores Gruber Gehrman, Adele Ritenberg Terranova, Joan Schwartz Sutton, Patricia Kreuger Cammarata, Robert Kucinski, Donald Robinson, Russell Wilson, Richard Priebe, Robert Rebman and Donald Mascia.

PATRIOTIC PROJECT -- Alexander Hyla, a Boy Scout in Troop 236, which is sponsored by Depew-Lancaster Lodge 1605, Loyal Order of Moose, will hold a flag retirement ceremony June 22 at Father Justin Council 5670, Knights of Columbus, to complete his Eagle Scout project. Fellow Scouts, members of the Knights of Columbus and the Knights of St. John, local dignitaries and veterans groups will participate.
Hyla will accept flags that should be retired until June 20. The flags can be dropped off at the Lancaster Moose Lodge, 5437 Broadway; the Tops Market in D&L Plaza, Broadway and Brunswick Road, Depew; the main entrance at Erie 1 Board of Cooperative Educational Services, 355 Harlem Road, West Seneca; and the Knights of Columbus, 2735 Union Road, Cheektowaga. . . .
A "TO DIE FOR" bake sale along with the serving of chicken barbecue dinners, a "Spring Housecleaning Sale" of "new or barely used items," a plant sale, theme baskets and music will be available June 7 at Episcopal Church of the Holy Communion, Route 5 at Old Lake Shore Road, Lake View.
