ANDREW S. KUZIOMKO, CUSTOMS INSPECTOR

A Mass of Christian Burial for Andrew S. Kuziomko, a retired inspector for the U.S. Customs Service, was offered todayday in SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Depew. Prayers were said in Pacer Funeral Home, Depew.

Entombment was in Marian Mausoleum, St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Cheektowaga.

Kuziomko, 60, died unexpectedly Tuesday (May 27, 2003) in his Depew home.

Born in Jankowicze, Poland, he moved to the United States with his family when he was a child. He earned bachelor's and master's degrees in communications from the University at Buffalo.

During the Vietnam War, he served in the Army with the 101st Airborne Division and was awarded the Bronze Star.

Kuziomko retired in 1999 after 30 years as a customs inspector in Lewiston and Toronto.

Survivors include his parents, John and Mary of Depew, and a brother, Roman of Wilson.
