Festival: Old Fashioned Farm Festival; 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Babcock Cobblestone House, 7449 Lake Road. Antique cars and tractors on display, entertainment, chicken barbecue at noon, petting zoo and horse-drawn wagon rides. The restored cobblestone house also will be open for tours. Free admission and free parking.

Event: Mad Hatter's Tea Party with activities for children; 2 to 3 p.m., Seneca Park at the Lewiston Library, 305 S. Eighth St. In addition to a tea party, there also are costumed characters, a croquet game featuring live ballerina wickets and pink flamingo mallets, face-painting and murals. Those attending are invited to wear costumes. A puppet show featuring Das Puppenspiel will perform "The Puppet Tree" at 3 p.m.

North Tonawanda

Concert: A Memorial Day concert features the sounds of the 1930s, '40s and '50s with the Lake Plains Big Band, a 19-piece orchestra; 8 p.m., Riviera Theatre, 67 Webster St. A half hour show on the Mighty Wurlitzer precedes the concert. Tickets are $10, adults; $8, senior citizens and students.

City of Tonawanda

Event: Doll exhibit; noon to 3 p.m., Benjamin Long Homestead, 24 E. Niagara St.

West Seneca

Celebration: West Seneca Rotary Club chicken barbecue; 1 to 4 p.m., Southgate Plaza, 950 Union Road. Fireworks display presented by Skylighters of WNY; 9:30 p.m.


Chicken barbecue: Noon, Bergholz Fire Hall, 2470 Niagara Road. Cost is $6.50. Takeouts available. Sponsored by the ladies auxiliary.


Event: Old Fort Niagara presents "Niagara's Soldiers Through the Ages"; 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Fort Niagara. The event uses re-enactors to show the whole range of Niagara's history at once.
