Services were held Wednesday for Sharon Ann Rivera, who held as many as three jobs during an eight-year battle with cancer.
The former Sharon Ann Schreiber, 47, died Monday (May 19, 2003) in her Buffalo home.
She was a graduate of Most Holy Redeemer School and Kensington High School. She worked as a service coordinator at Orville's Appliances in Cheektowaga as well as at Avis Rent-A-Car. Volunteer work at Lothlorien Therapeutic Riding Center evolved into a job as assistant barn manager.
She was an avid crafter and animal lover.
She is survived by her husband of seven years, Juan C. Sr.; three stepdaughters, LinaMar and Lymari, both of Buffalo, and Briana Nicole of Angola; three stepsons, Juan C. Jr. and Fabian, both of Buffalo, and Antonio of Angola; a sister, Joanne R. Zurawski of Blasdell; a brother, James F. Schreiber of Florida; and four stepgrandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial was offered in SS. Columba & Brigid Catholic Church. Burial was in Our Lady Help of Christians Cemetery, Cheektowaga.
