KAPPA PHI SORORITY CONVENTION OPENS JUNE 6 IN KENMORE

Beta Chapter of Kappa Phi Sorority, affiliated with United Church of Christ in the Buffalo area and celebrating its 65th anniversary, will be host to Sigma Chapter of St. Louis, Mo., at a convention June 6-9. Both chapters were formed at the Dunkirk Conference Center.

Janet Kurz is convention chairwoman.

Registration, a potluck supper and entertainment by Shepherd's Staff at Kenmore United Church of Christ will open the convention.

Other activities include lunch June 7 in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ont.; a barbecue dinner at Zion United Church of Christ; Sunday service and a family brunch at St. Stephen's-Bethlehem United Church of Christ; and a dinner in Adam's restaurant.

The convention will close with a rededication service at Dunkirk Conference Center and supper in Pilgrim Lodge.
