Michael S. LoVerdi Sr., 45, of Niagara Falls, owner of a baseball memorabilia shop, died Saturday (May 17, 2003) in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center after a long illness.

He was born in Niagara Falls and attended local schools. He at one time owned and operated Mike's Baseball Cards & Memorabilia shop.

He was a fisherman and guitar player.

Survivors, all of Niagara Falls, include his wife, the former Debra Ard; two sons, Anthony and Michael Jr.; two daughters, Nicole and Kristina; his mother, Gloria; and five brothers, Joseph, Gene, Gary, Mark and Nicholas.

Services will be held at 8 p.m. Thursday in M.J. Colucci and Son Funeral Chapel, 468 19th St. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
