Lannie DuBose, of Buffalo, died Friday (May 16, 2003) in Buffalo Deaconess Center after a brief illness. She was 92.
Born Lannie Cannon in Florence County, South Carolina, she had lived in the Buffalo area for 61 years. She worked during the 1940s and 1950s for Pullman and the Statler Hilton.
Mrs. DuBose was a member of People's Community United Church of Christ and the Sunshine Club. She enjoyed cooking and gardening.
Her husband, Boyd Sr., died in 1983.
Survivors include a son, Nelson of Buffalo; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in People's Community United Church of Christ, 472 Swan St. Entombment will be in Forest Lawn's Rosewood Mausoleum.
