Grace W. Field, a Buffalo native and retired executive assistant, died unexpectedly May 6, 2003, in Sarasota, Fla.
Mrs. Field, 76, was born and raised in Buffalo. She lived here until 1979 and worked as an executive assistant. She left Buffalo to live in Rockville, Md., and later moved to Sarasota.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Thomas O. Sr.; three daughters, Catherine Demerly of Lawrenceville, Ga., Maureen Levy of Gaithersburg, Md., and Nora Field-Geckle of Natick, Mass.; four sons, Thomas O. Jr. of Eugene, Ore., Daniel of Calgary, Alberta, Michael of Columbia, Md., and Charles of Frederick, Md.; a sister, Veronica Walter of Evergreen, Colo.; a brother, George of the Town of Tonawanda; and nine grandchildren.
Services were held last week in Sarasota, where she was buried.
