Marion V. Kirchgessner, 95, died Thursday (Nov. 28, 2002) in DeGraff Memorial Hospital in North Tonawanda after a brief illness.
She was born Marion Nelson in Buffalo, where she attended local schools.
She worked as a secretary for the Prudential Insurance Co. and as a sales clerk at the Sample Shop on Hertel Avenue in Buffalo for many years.
She and her husband, Melvin J., also ran a delicatessen on Hertel for many years. He died in 1976.
She was a longtime member of Holy Trinity Church and many of its women's organizations.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Rhoney Funeral Home, Cayuga and South Ninth streets, Lewiston. Burial will be in Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery.
