Ann McCully, 93, a former bookkeeper, died Monday (Nov. 25, 2002) in Sunny Acres Nursing Home, Chelmsford, Mass., after a brief illness.
Born Ann Zobrist in Switzerland, she lived in North Tonawanda for 60 years and in Chelmsford for the last three years.
In the late 1920s, she had worked as a bookkeeper for Bennett Lumber Co. in North Tonawanda and Columbus McKinnon Corp., then in the City of Tonawanda.
In her younger years, she participated in a number of volunteer activities, including those at DeGraff Memorial Hospital, North Tonawanda. She also enjoyed gardening, golf and bridge.
Her husband, John A., died in 1974.
Survivors include a daughter, Jacqueline Williamson of Chelmsford; a son, John A. Jr. of Pompano Beach, Fla., and Union Springs; a sister, Margaret Malchow of the City of Tonawanda; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in John O. Roth Funeral Home, 25 William St., City of Tonawanda. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Town of Tonawanda.
