WOMAN ACCUSED OF ASSAULT CAUGHT AFTER TV SHOW

A woman accused of seriously wounding her husband's mistress was caught after an anonymous tipster called "America's Most Wanted."

Kristina Eaddy, 31, who had been wanted for more than three years on attempted murder charges, was arrested Monday as she left her home in Woodlawn, Md. Wednesday, she waived her right to challenge her extradition.

The caller to the television show recognized Eaddy from the day care center where Eaddy took her children.

Police say Eaddy fired five shots at Shakessa Sturdivant, 32, with a 9mm handgun in July 1999 in Paterson.

Eaddy fired the shots from the passenger seat of a car driven by her husband, Donald Williams, 32, said prosecutor Paul DeGroot.

Williams was convicted in May of attempted murder, aggravated assault and weapons offenses.
